equalityMD started in January 2015 as a LGBTQ+ multimedia and marketing company, Q Media. In 2019, we became a LGBTQ+ consumer behavioral data analytics company, Equality Rewards and went through a national technology accelerator, Lighthouse Labs. In early 2020, we launched our initial product. Then COVID-19 stopped the world.
Upon assessing the historic and systemic healthcare inequities laid bare by the pandemic, our Founder & CEO, Justin Ayars (a former healthcare trial lawyer), transformed Equality Rewards into equalityMD in December 2020.
equalityMD is an inclusive healthcare community working to eradicate healthcare inequities and bridge data gaps gaps by creating equitable solutions to institutional and societal problems.
The NGLCC is the business voice of the LGBT community. It’s dedicated to expanding economic opportunities and advancements for LGBT people, and is the exclusive certifying body for LGBT-owned businesses.
The National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center is part of the Division of Education and Training at The Fenway Institute, Fenway Health. They aim to advance health equity for LGBTQIA+ people and the populations which may intersect with the LGBTQIA+ community.
